Share some sparkle with your online followers! We’ve got a lot of new templates for you this year, including NEW carousel (multi-image) options that allow you to share fun designs, local photos, AND customizable information about your event all in one post! Each preview below contains instructions for how to make it your own. Just click each button to open the template and view the image options within. We also have fun caption and timing suggestions for you.

You can put additional details, like a sign-up link or other information, in your caption when you post this to platforms online.

Premade Posts

A free Canva account is required to access the templates above. We hope you’ll join us if you haven’t already! Sign up at canva.com by entering your name, email, and a password. Then access these brief instructional videos to help you get started. (We promise, it’s easy as 1-2-3!)

Still not there yet? Several of our posts are premade and ready to download immediately. Access them here along with a separate set of captions, and mix and match them with simple photo posts to promote your Chipper event.

Ideas for Your Reels

Looking to incorporate short videos this year and show off your Bring One for the Chipper site? Here are a few fun ideas to help capture the spirit of your event. Don’t forget to add festive music!

  • Show your crew getting ready for the big day — unloading cones, signs, and supplies — with a cheerful message like “We’re ready for your trees!”

  • Build excitement with a countdown reel leading up to your event using short clips of your team prepping.

  • Use photos or clips from past Bring One for the Chipper events to celebrate your history and invite people to join the tradition again this year.

  • Introduce your volunteers or partners with short clips or name tags to spotlight the people making your event possible.

  • Share a fun fact or milestone from your community, like “Our county has recycled over 2,000 trees!”

  • Show your seedling giveaway setup — rows of baby trees, volunteers handing them out, or people choosing their seedlings — with text like “Recycle your tree, take home a new one!”

  • Film a tree being unloaded or dropped onto the pile with a fun caption like “Drop off your tree this weekend!”

  • Capture your volunteers in action — smiling, waving, or helping unload trees — to highlight your community’s teamwork and enthusiasm.

  • Capture snippets throughout event day — cars arriving, trees stacking up, chippers running — to show the energy and impact of your site.

  • Show what happens next! Give a quick behind-the-scenes look at how the collected trees are transported or processed after the event.

  • End on a feel-good note by showing how tree recycling helps beautify your community — from seedlings planted in local parks to smiling volunteers wrapping up a successful day.

  • Alternatively, do another mashup after you’ve completed your event with short clips or photos from the big day itself.

Promotional Print Materials

We have a whole suite of items for you to use this year!

Printing tips: Each template above includes several options to choose from, based on the length of your event and how many locations you’re hosting. Once you’ve made your selection, customize it as necessary, delete the pages you’re not using, click ‘Share’, and download your files as ‘PDF Standard’ or ‘PDF Print’, with the RGB color profile chosen for the latter option as the best color match. When you print from your desktop, please choose ‘actual size’ under ‘Page Size and Handling’ in the pop-up menu. This will ensure the even proportions you see in the Canva preview.
